I have been an estate agent now for over 29 years working in both England and Wales for independent and corporate agencies which have provided me with thorough understanding of sales and marketing and experiences that cover most situations imaginable. I am driven to provide the best service we can, which means employing the best people available to represent our customers and ensuring that they receive a first class experience whether selling, buying or letting.
Ryan began his career in the property industry in 2004, joining a local independent estate agent after finishing his education. Progressing through roles as a sales negotiator and valuer, he built a strong foundation of industry knowledge that led him to become branch manager of a highly successful office in Newport, South Wales, navigating a competitive market with expertise and professionalism. Eager to broaden his experience, Ryan then joined a property auction company, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of property sales, including residential, commercial, and agricultural sectors. In 2021, Ryan co-founded Sage & Co Auctions with Steve, combining over 40 years of collective experience in the property sector. Together, they continue to drive the business forward, with exciting developments planned for the future.
Callum brings a wealth of estate agency experience across the South Wales property market, having worked throughout Cardiff, Newport and Cwmbran. His background covers the full spectrum of residential sales, from high-end properties and first-time buyer homes to new builds and auction sales. With experience in both corporate estate agency and running his own branch within a target-driven environment, Callum is well equipped to meet the demands of a fast-paced and ever-changing market. He is passionate about continually developing his knowledge and is currently studying towards RICS qualification, enabling him to further enhance the advice and service he provides to clients. Born and bred in Risca, Callum takes great pride in supporting his local community and delivering a first-class service to clients across the area. Alongside his estate agency career and ongoing CPD, he has completed two years of SAVA studies within the surveying and building sector and has also passed his EPC Assessor exams. While these qualifications cannot be utilised due to potential conflicts of interest, they highlight both Callum’s depth of knowledge and the company’s commitment to integrity. Although Callum may not yet have letters after his name (he insists L.E.G.E.N.D. should count), we’re confident it’s only a matter of time before his accreditations catch up with his expertise.
James has had a lifelong interest in property and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Planning and Development from Cardiff University. His role at Sage & Co. has given him broad experience across the Gwent property market, working with a wide range of property types and clients. Alongside his responsibilities within estate agency, James is training through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with the aim of becoming a Chartered Surveyor, having begun his APC journey towards final assessment. His academic background provides him with a strong understanding of the wider property industry, supported by accreditations with both RTPI and RICS. James understands the emotional importance of buying and selling a home and is committed to ensuring every client receives his full attention, care and respect throughout the sales process. He also holds Level 3 Propertymark qualifications as an MNAEA member and is currently working towards achieving Level 4 qualifications.
Kelly has been a key member of the Sage & Co Auctions team for several years, playing an essential role in the smooth day-to-day running of our online property and land auctions. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and highly organised approach, Kelly manages everything behind the scenes with calm efficiency - from catalogue preparation and bidder communications to legal paperwork, deadlines, and post-sale administration. Her proactive mindset ensures every auction proceeds seamlessly. Before joining Sage & Co, Kelly spent many years in hospitality, where she developed strong organisational, customer service, and multitasking skills. This background gives her a natural ability to handle competing priorities under pressure qualities that make her indispensable to the team. Kelly’s dedication and reliability help deliver the transparent, efficient auction experience that clients across South Wales trust and value.
